# Add Rivvi to Microsoft Teams

> Run Rivvi from inside Teams — trigger runs and follow up without leaving your chat.

The Microsoft Teams connector lets your team work with Rivvi from inside Teams — trigger runs, follow up on tasks, and stay in the loop without switching apps.

Unlike the other connectors, Teams isn't a paste-a-token flow. You **install the Rivvi app** in Teams and sign in.

<Note>
  **This is different from reading Teams messages.** If you want the agent to *read* messages from your Teams channels as data (e.g. "what did the ops channel discuss this week?"), that comes from the [Microsoft 365](/connectors/microsoft-365) connector — no install required. This page is about *running Rivvi from inside* Teams as a chat app.
</Note>

<Note>
  Rivvi never shows patient information in Teams. When there's something to look at, it links you back to the workspace.
</Note>
