The Microsoft Teams connector lets your team work with Rivvi from inside Teams — trigger runs, follow up on tasks, and stay in the loop without switching apps. Unlike the other connectors, Teams isn’t a paste-a-token flow. You install the Rivvi app in Teams and sign in.
This is different from reading Teams messages. If you want the agent to read messages from your Teams channels as data (e.g. “what did the ops channel discuss this week?”), that comes from the Microsoft 365 connector — no install required. This page is about running Rivvi from inside Teams as a chat app.
Rivvi never shows patient information in Teams. When there’s something to look at, it links you back to the workspace.

Install it

1

Download the Rivvi Teams app package

From Settings → Connectors → Microsoft Teams, download the Rivvi Teams app package (a .zip). The package is wired to your environment automatically.
2

Upload it in Teams

In Microsoft Teams, go to Apps → Manage your apps → Upload an app → Upload a custom app, and choose the downloaded .zip.
3

Open Rivvi and send a message

Open the Rivvi app in Teams and send any message — you’ll be prompted to sign in.
4

Sign in with your Rivvi account. After that, Rivvi is linked to your Teams identity automatically.
Sideloading a custom app may require a Teams administrator to allow it for your organization. If upload is blocked, ask your Teams admin to enable custom app uploads.

What you can do from Teams

  • Trigger runs and follow up on tasks.
